Minibus Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced minibus driver to join our small friendly team. The role is primarily transporting vulnerable adults and children to specialist facilities; with additional ad-hoc work available. The position will be subject to receipt of an Enhanced DBS disclosure funded by the Company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that all vehicles in your possession are regularly inspected for defects according with VOSA guidelines
• Report any traffic incidents, client feedback and vehicle defects promptly
• Delivering/ collecting vehicles for maintenance inspections and repairs
• Drive in a professional manner at all times
• Accurately record your activities in line with Working Time and EU Driver’s Hours Regulations
• To comply with Health & Safety, and Environmental Legislation
• Assisting clients on and off of the vehicle, this may require using the vehicle lifts or ramps fitted
• Adjusting the vehicle seating configurations
• Cleaning and refuelling of the vehicle
• Comply with any random drug or alcohol tests that may be carried out. All employees in any professional driving capacity will be subject to random testing, as part of our commitment to ensure that drivers are medically fit, and able to operate a vehicle safely

Qualifications, Attributes and Personal Skills:
Essential:
• In possession of a clean D (bus) licence or D1 (minibus) licence
• Good communication skills, flexibility, reliable and hard-working
Desirable:
• Current Driver CPC qualification and Digital tachograph card.
• First Aid and Wheelchair loading and security training although these will be provided
