Shrewton Methodist Hall Improvements

The Shrewton Methodist Church Hall is in the centre of Shrewton High Street and has a car park at the rear. In recent years we have improved external access especially for the disabled and the Church Hall is used for the village Day Centre each Thursday. The hall needed brightening up and some refurbishment. So we invested ¬£4200 in replacing the complete internal ceiling and replacing the lighting with low energy LED lighting panels. We were grateful to receive a grant from the Amesbury Board to help with the funding. The Church Hall is used as a community facility and for Parish Council meetings, the Women’s Institute and children’s parties. The improvements continue but the ceiling has made a big difference to the Church¬†Hall facility.
